About this submission

Ella pays homage to working class women, who’s jobs are to look after and even raise other people's children. They are responsible for maintaining and keeping a house together.

While being immersed in this type of employment, these women also have their own families to care for. This is a single mother with much pressure, but her determination to provide for her children drives her to get up every morning and go on a long, daily journey to another city, home, and reality. When she returns home to her children she is complete again. Present again. She does not loose faith that things will get better and will eventually see her family who live far away in another country.

This is a commemoration for her.
