You Promised Me Love is a script that will hopefully one day develop into a feature horror. The story looks at emotionally abusive relationships, told through the metaphor of the very physical creature. The narrative will focus on both characters, showing how they interpret, manage, and deal with each other. Diving into couple dynamics, mental health issues, and the complexity of the abuser-abusee relationship, I believe the horror genre to be the perfect fit for telling this story.
